ALL ABOUT TROUT 🐟🐟 Lake Hemet privately stocked 4,000lbs from Mt Lassen on the morning of Tuesday, March 26th. Fishing has been limited to Camps 5, 6, & 7 this week to give our trout time to acclimate and disperse. On Saturday, all camps will be open for fishing from 7am to 5pm. We enjoy privately stocking over 20,000lbs of trout into Lake Hemet each year. We do it at great expense, so that our campers and guests can make positive sport fishing memories here with us. Anglers who “truck chase” are counter productive to those efforts. They come immediately after we stock, while the new trout are still disoriented and hungry. There is no real sport in that.
